STEP ONE – Prepare Your Nails
- Wash your hands and nails thoroughly with soap and water to remove any dirt or oils.
- Dry your hands completely, and use the provided trimming tools to gently shape and smooth the edges of your natural nails. This ensures proper adhesion of Nail Jail.

STEP TWO – Select and Shape the Prosthetic Nails
- Choose a Nail Jail size from the set that closely matches the size of your natural nail. Aim for a snug, comfortable fit whose width doesn't eat into your cuticles.
- If needed, use the provided trimming tools to shape Nail Jail to fit precisely over your natural nail, but keep in mind it's better to fully trim to desired length once the nail is glued on.

STEP THREE – Apply the Hypoallergenic Adhesive
- Apply a thin layer of the quick-drying, hypoallergenic adhesive onto the underside Nail Jail. Avoid using excessive glue to prevent overflow, a drop or two should be enough
- Carefully position Nail Jail over your natural nail, aligning it precisely. Press gently but firmly and uniformly for 20–30 seconds to ensure a secure bond.

STEP FOUR – Final Adjustments and Maintenance
- After Nail Jail is applied, check for any rough edges and smooth them with the provided trimming tools for a natural appearance.
- To maintain effectiveness, reapply adhesive as needed if any nails loosen, and replace Nail Jail if they show signs of wear. Regularly clean the nails to ensure long-lasting use.
I swear, this is the only thing that has ever gotten my boyfriend to stop biting his nails. Works great and exactly as it intended, but I’d be careful of using your nails to pry open things as it might cause the glue to separate or damage the nail.
The NailJail set protected my nails from constant picking and biting. My nails were able to grow back and I haven’t seen them this long in years!
